Hi!
I've been meaning to get into cloth nappies since DD#1 was a baby but it has never happened until now. I have just bought some bambino mio prefolds (they were on special so thought it would be as good a place as any to start!) and have some questions...
They seem really bulky on my girls. They've had to adapt their crawling technique to get around the extra bulk and they're slowing them down a bit. Are bambino mio's particularly bulky or is this just how it is with cloth? I've had to fold them in quarters instead of thirds so that the width between their legs is better but of course, that makes them thicker...
Also, I was a bit surprised and disappointed to see that the inside of the covers are really plastic-y. I thought all the new cloth brands had done away with the awful plastic feel?
Can people recommend the bambino mio nappies or have some good suggestions for making them work well? I was thinking I could possibly cut the actual nappies a bit to make them smaller so they are less bulky when folded but don't want to do anything drastic just yet!
