Giving panadol and nurofen

Was just wondering, if I give DD panadol at 6pm, what time can I then give her nurofen?

And then if she has nurofen, do I wait 4 hours from the last panadol dose before I can give more panadol?

when my kids have been in hospital they gave it at the same time. the first time and then waited the time for panadol eg 4-6hours and the neurofen every 6-8 hrs.

Hi Kellie,
I was told that Panadol and Nurofen are seperate drugs so they don't conflict with each other- Nurofen is fine just after Panandol (though it's best to leave it an hour to see if the Panadol works), then just do it as you normally would- 4 hours for the Panadol and 6 for Nurofen.

I was told 3 hours give panadol, 3 more hours give nurofen, 3 more give panadol. That way they are both 6 hours apart from the last dose if that made any sense?

I have been told same as missy - also nurofen better bedtime one cos if taken on empty stomach could upset it ....
