daft question about front loaders and lint filter

DH bought our front loader at an auction and it did not have a manual with it. the machine does not seem to have a lint filter. Just wondering if other front loaders have lint filters? this is an el cheapo brand so maybe it does not have one but I am about to put DDs school smock in it and it has lots of paint flakes and I was wondering where they are going to go.

We bought a new front loader a couple of weeks ago, there is a panel on the front right down the bottom (below the door) on ours that pulls off and there is a lint filter on the right hand side that pulls out. In our manual it only says it needs to be pulled out and cleaned 2-3 times every year, so I don't think it builds up with lint all that much, although I have noticed ours washes stuff a lot better than the 25 year old tiny top loader we replaced!!

I can't find a lint filter in mine, and the manual says nothing about it either! You might be able to google a manual? There have been similar threads recently too, talking about cleaning front loaders and the existence or otherwise of lint filters.

thanks girls. I think I found it down the bottom of the machine, similar to yours SS. It is such an el cheapo they don't have manuals on the website.
