    Unhappy shocked :(

just now while DD was playing she hit on of her toys on the head and said naughty!
now i dont smack and dont usually use the word naughty to her, i generally talk to her about whats she's done and explain why we dont 'do that' i can only assume she has learnt this from the mums at mothersgroup who smack there kids, makes me sad that something i dont do, she is mimiking

oh AJP she's also seeing the reactions.... the amount of times Matilda has hit the dog is astounding, and I didn't smack (I can't say never, but maybe twice?). She also used to say "I don't love you" and that made me cry, no idea where she got it from....

The funny thing she picked up was putting Abby dog in time out. Abby has at least 3 time outs a day.

Maybe you could suggest an alternative 'toy parenting' technique? Time out for the toys, or early to bed?

ETA: Oh Christy! Poor Abby! haha.

Can you talk to her about where she has seen that and that we dont smack things in our house. You dont want her to mimik it on your little bubs.

You poor thing. You are having a rought trot lately
