Who else had a baby with crossed legs at the ultrasound?

I went for my ultrasound a week ago, but the baby had it's legs crossed. The ultrasound guy did say though, that they only tell you if it's got 'boy bits', and not if they think it's a girl. But I think the guy had fridayitis anyway, he almost forgot to check for the baby's sex! (you'd think nearly everyone would want to know these days?).

    I am going for a 3d/4d scan on march 13...and I can't wait....seems like forever away.

Who else couldn't find out the sex of their baby at the ultrasound?

im so paranoid this time around that they wont be able to tell me the sex!! with dd, the first thing she said when she started the scan was 'youve got a little girl in there alright!'

im having a scan next week at 17w.. so if they cant tell, ill be going back at about 20w for another chance to tell!!

They told me they couldn't tell with my DS. I don't think they could be bothered. She was very "care factor" about the whole thing.

My DD was a legs crossed baby @ my 18wk scan, so had to wait until my 32wk scan to finally found out, that I wasn't infact carrying the blue bundle I thought I was, it was instead PINK! lol
My DS however, not a shame in the world & no shyness about him lol..
I'm hoping #3 is going to be like my DS..

My DD3 had her legs crossed so they couldnt take accurate measurements and boy, they tried everything to move her. I felt bruised afterwards. I had to go back 2 weeks later and about 30 mins before my U/S I ate some jelly babies and she wouldnt stay still. She wasnt shy about letting us know her sex either
Im having my anomaly scan Monday so I will definitely be doing the old jelly baby trick again.

DD1 had her legs crossed, but he did actually say to me 'I can't see any extra bits hanging out, so more than likely a girl, but I can't tell'!!

    DD2 was easy to spot.

DS somehow had a foot in the way when we asked at the end. She still said she thought boy, but I think she'd already seen it & was planning on showing us.
They pointed it out to me at the next u/s.

It might sound sad, but they were the cutest boy bits I'd ever seen! I'd been waiting so long for that moment!

our dd had her legs together at every scan after about 24wks we were having weekly scans and they could never tell what she was. 20wk scan they told me they thought she may be a girl but not to go buying pink so it was just a wait and see.

We have been told at our 20 week scan that its most likely a girl...but the sonographer stressed to us that they are only allowed to say they are 80% sure...even if you go for a 3d scan they will giv the 80% sure thing too...I think its to cover their own asses in case u ring up and go "you said it was a such and such and its not!!"
Having said that, it hasn't stopped us buying a lot of pink!

My DD had her legs crossed tight and they couldn't tell - but in all honesty, I'd had a quiet word with her and asked her to do just that because I was so undecided about whether I wanted to find out or not! LOL After that scan I decided she wanted to stay a secret so never asked about her sex again.

both my girls were very modest. legs crossed and not a a hint of gender from the operator at the time. so we didnt know til they were born. Even though i was BUSTING to find out.

my boy however, had it all out on show on two different occasions, so no doubting the result this time.

Cathy, All of the babies that I know that were hiding, are girls. So I am asking have any BOYS been modest?
