We saw bub today.... =)

Well had my dating scan today, I didn't get to see much but DH did, he saw the heart beat (172.63 bpm). All looks well and I'm 8wks 3days today. So we have our first trimester screening in 4 wks.

Congrats!! It's an amazing feeling isn't it. I had to have an emergency ultrasound at hospital because they thought the bub was outside of the uterus (not even sure how this can happen) But everything was fine.
So i was stuck between almost crying because i needed to wee so badly, freaking out something was wrong, and utter amazement and love at seeing my tiny little peanut shaped baby, who wouldnt stop moving around.
I can't wait until the 12 week scan, not long now.

Congratulations - the scans are so exciting. Enjoy them as it may not seem like it now but the pregnancy will go quickly.
