Poop explosions

Every day for the last week or so my 10mth old has had a poop explosion. The poop comes out the nappy and up his back. Has anybody else had this problem? I cant think how to stop it short of going up a nappy size (to XL) but hes too slim really to wear them yet

Sorry, had to giggle... Oskar used to do that to me too!! SO GROSS!! Used to have to chuck his back half under the running tap in the bath. I think it's just the angle they're on when they're doing it which can force it that way. Can't give any advice on how to stop it though, sorry.

yes my little one is 10 months and started doing it this week too. One arvo it was like oozing up the top of his nappy, so quickly had to put him in the shower. Ive begun feeding him 10 month old baby food (Rafferty's pouches) and it seems to have started from this.

also he has been pooing in his sleep this week.


The smell is very gross!
