    opk ?

    Hello,

I had a d&c Jan 1st after a blighted ovum. When I saw my GP 2weeks later she told me I need not wait and gave me the all clear to start trying again straight away. I've been using OPks since, I'm 39 and trying for our 2nd bub hence being so keen to try again. My query is that since testing I've had 3 positve opks in a row(I test once a day) and Im wondering if they are false and that I still have pregnancy hormones on board?

    Thanks for your thoughts
    Lola

    Hi
Im not sure how it varies between brands but mine predict an increase in your hormone levels that suggest ovulation in next 24-48hours. Maybe your hormone levels take abit to fall. Im not sure how long its ment to take for them to drop to a point where they are undectectable by OPK I norm dont keep testing once I get a +ve, just bd every day, usually for 3-4days depending if we have any time off together HTH
