My Baby Boy is starting peschool on Wednesday morning and although it is only initially for two hours just so he gets to know the palce, I am still feeling rather mixed about it - excited, nervous, worried, impatient, unorganised......the list goes on!
Bailey is almost 2 1/2 years but to me he is still my Baby Boy....even though he has an almost 9 month old brother!!! i am sure you know what I mean. lol
I have not been making preschool sound like the best thing in the world in case he hates it. Instead I have been talking about the games to be played, having morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea there, sining songs and listening to stories as well as having a nap and helping pack toys away. When he goes to the toilet, I tell him he needs to use the toilet at preschool or tell one of the grown ups etc
Anyways.......was just wondering if anyone else has their chilsd starting for the first time and wanted to chat about it?
My baby boy Adrian started preschool today (6 hour day), although he`s been going to FDC for the last three months this was a big step for Mummy and Adrian and yes I`ve been so excited for him but when today came I had to hold back my tears, it just feels so strange that my baby is all grown up and going to preschool.
The bonus with Adrian is he`s been coming with me on occasions to pick up his big Brother from preschool so he had the added bonus of knowing the surroundings and teachers, he did very well and even managed a 40 minute nap
