MELBOURNE - Quest Collins St OR Stamford Plaza on Little Collins St?

Anyone stayed at either of these hotels? Which one would you recommend?

i've stayed at the stamford plaza - i thought it was nice. we only stayed one night but our room was good.

we also used to use them for staff from overseas where i used to work & it was a popular choice - people liked the rooms because most (if not all) are suites with kitchen facilities, lounge area & the bedroom can be closed off. so they don't seem as much like a tiny hotel room.

ive stayed at the quest on william - very near collins street (if thats the main street - spot the non melb person!) and it was fab - so central that i could walk/get train everywhere.
