    Looking for some advice please

Hi guys just looking for some advice on work situation, sorry if i ramble on, I have been in oz 14 months now i worked in the uk for 8 years as an assistant in nursing for the NHS, I have 2 children nearly 3 and 5 and my husband is a mechanic, basically we have just bought a house and my husbands wage just covers that and our car repayment, the thing is we only get $270 every two weeks from centrelink which doesnt even cover the bills, my son starts school on tuesday and my little girl goes to daycare 2 days a week, since being in oz i have worked for an agency doing care work but its casual and i rarely get called in which means im wasting money on childcare, I really need some work that is permanent so i know the days im working but i just dont have any experience in anything apart from care, and everything else u need to be qualified in or have a certificate, I started a doula course but couldnt find the pregnant women so i couldnt get my births in, im a qualified nail tech but never practised it so would not feel comfortable in that and all care work is either casual or shift work and thats no good cos i need to find care for my children, i have applied for 32 jobs the last week and have got no where was thinking about re training but you have to pay for all of your studies here plus i need to start work now, i just dont know what to do ive been looking at working from home ideas but they all look like scams, im really worried we will get in a mess we have no savings, i told hubby to ask for a pay rise which he did and have heard nothing, if anyone has any ideas for me please let me know thanks

Some nursing homes offer to pay for Div 2 nurse training if you agree to work with them for 2 years, have you contacted any of the nursing schools local to you, if you have already got some qualifications you mayeven get some credits for the work so that you can do less study. Possibly not the way you want to go, but a good way of getting formal qualifications and then you can move to an area that you want

The pay is fairly good and you would be contracted to work a certain amount of hrs per week
