    retracting bid

    is this possible on ebay? if so, how do you do it, i cant figure it out!

    you can retract a bid if you've bid and inadvertantly bid far too high (so you meant to say 10.00 and put in 1000) - it's in the help section how to do it - can't remember off the top of my head

    generally though, you'd have to re put in your $10 bid

    You can retract your bid as long as there is more than 24 hours left on the auction. You can do this by clicking on the bids (where it says something like "10 bids"), then when you get to the bids screen, scroll down and there should be an option that says "retract bid" (or something like that!). HTH

    are you able to just review your maximum bid?

    i just want to reduce it, silly me got a bit carried away

    Yep, you need to retract your original bid, then place a new one.

    awesome thankyou guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! all done, phew!!

    pretty easy too, it actually wiped alll of my bids - didnt make me re enter anything

    might just fence sit and hyena now ........nah, that would be nasty
