I'm not sure how all this works.
I'm on parenting payment single & am thinking I'm going to have to go back to work. Even though I am no where ready yet. Scares the crap out of me!
So tell me. I think I'm at 100% with child care benifit. If I went back to work would I be entitled to 100% still?
And would I lose pension benifits? ie free rego etc?
Any idea how much I can earn before it cuts my payments?? & how much difference it'd make?
I have an idea how the income estimate works & all that stuff, its just the single side of things.
I need to work out if its worth it as I have 2 that would need at least 4 days a week & another who would need after school care.
dodgy system just ate my post again - between servier issues, and my house blowing fuses all day cos of the damn heat - grrrr!
anyway
so long as you're still on PPS, you'll get max rate FTBA and CCB as you are currently getting
you have to earn over the income thresholds and get no PPS for six fortnights in a row before your PPS is cancelled. as a guess, i think you can earn $1500 per fortnight (ish) - maybe a bit more....
there is a centrelink rate estimator on the c'link website which will estimate your income including a guess at what your tax will be. scope it out from there
