    I dont know but Charlotte still does this if you put her on your hip, always has to have her legs bent up. The only time they relax is if she is asleep! it is almost like I am a palm tree she is trying to climb up iykwim lol
    She pulls her legs up like that too in th epram, laying on the floor - just loves having her legs bent and her feet together
    She seems fine, walking since 10 months, never had a problem crawling etc...so I think it is just one of her little individual person quirks

    Jack does the same and he walks and crawls fine.
    I think they just like to hang onto there mummies as tight as they can.

    MJ does this too, having only her i just assumed thats what they did to hang on!
    we use a hug a bub and its a diff position, so i dont think that its the carrier doing it
