    Just wondering

Hi all, Im thinking about attempting a VBAC, but still undecided at this stage. I know I am going to have a big baby. Im also scared that I will not know what to expect in labour and birth. Im scared that I will tear alot. Im scared I may end up with a prolapsed uterus. Im scared of the baby getting stuck and end up having to have a c/s. I never really experienced labour with the twins, as they had to stop it to get me down to Melbourne. Im also scared that everything is going to be stretched that far for that long, that it wont go back.

What Im wondering is, has anyone else been scared to death of the things I have mentioned above. Im very small 'down there'. DP was 9p9oz when he was born, and his son was close to that too. DP has broad shoulders too.

    Bridget

Your fears a totally normal, I have had four vag births and I can tell you I have an element of fear before each one.

There are lots of things we can do to address each of your fears and help focus more on how we can make you upcoming birth a fantastic experience!!

I can't wait to help you overcome some of this fear and get your bub safely in your arms the way nature intended. Just give me a few more weeks and I will be there with bells on!!

Meanwhile there are plenty of threads on BB that express some of your exact concerns. See if you can find them and what what suggestions were made for them by other users.

    xx
Thanx for being patient with me

Hi Bridget... I suggest if you can to do a hypnobirthing course with a qualified teacher. It really will help you with your fears and eliminating them and coping with it. I was afraid too and this really helped me. We are actually doing a refresher course in a couple of weeks for this one and yes I do have concerns again this time, however they are different ones. to you.
