Has anyone got BBH Magic Alls All-In-One?

I have just made the switch over to Cloth Nappies! I have a couple of Itti Bitti d'lish sewn in and snap in...Also a couple of BBH Fitted and All In ones(velcro)

Today I just purchased 1 Magic Alls-All In One (Smooth with Snaps)
I was just wondering if they are similar to the All in one (with pocket) but the only difference is the snaps? Is the outer cover the same material as the PUL covers for the fitted bamboo and hemp nappies?

I did read the description but just wanted to make sure I had the information right!
I like the All in one system but I would prefer Snaps to Velcro as I think it will wear better.

Also are they very absorbant...no leakage??

Yup I'm learning the advantages of snaps just now.....

as it's been hot and jake has been running around with just a nappy on he discovered he could pull the velcro and undo his nappy.......

Absorbent absolutely, I know it's hard to believe but they are I occasionally get a leak if I've not done it up tight enough, but i think that's cos Jake is quite a skinny bub with no rolls, lol..

    GL and congrats!!

I had the old style Magicalls with the aplix (looks like velcro but much stronger/more resilient). I had no problems with the fastening at all - I prefer that to the snaps as you have more flexibility in the sizing. DS2 self-TTd before taking his nappy off really became a problem, sadly that's not true for DS1, but he could undo snaps as well as anything else (even with the nappy on backwards LOL) so I don't really think that makes a difference.

As for absorbency, they worked really well for DS2 - with a booster we used them almost exclusively during the day. But DS1 was too heavy a wetter for them. He used them at day care but I rarely used them for him at home.

Because I am still new at this my stock pile isn't very big and I am experimenting with a few different brands. I have discovered that DS is a heavy wetter (I couldn't tell when he was in the huggies as it drew away the moisture so well)
With the BBH fitted I use the big and the small booster during the day and the fleecy big insert folded into 3rds with the other 2 boosters at night.
He can wet through all 3 of these at night (maybe 8-12hours sleep) and wets thru the other 2 boosters during the day...The Itti bitti d'lish he soaks through the 2 boosters in that as well.

During the day I change every 2-3 hours.

What nappy is recommended for heavy wetters.....So I don't waste my money on other nappies that will just be no good to me!!!!

Yes I'm pretty sure it is!

Other good things about snaps over velcro are that they don't look tatty after a year+ of use and they don't snag on other nappies in the wash!
