What do I do if he grows out of the MCNs??!!??

DS is quite the chubba bubba (although he has slimmed down heaps since he started walking). We currently use BBH fitteds and Greenkids pockets. I have had to stop using the BBH bamboos because they don't seem to fit anymore - the hemp ones are ok for the moment (they are stretchier). He is not quite 14 months yet - so a long way from TT. I had planned to use these nappies right up to TT, but now I don't know if they will fit. I'm hoping he will just keep growing up (not out) - but I can't guarantee that.

I have bought one large AIO (BBH Magic-All) which fits well - but I don't really want to spend the money on a whole new stash unless I have to.

Has anyone else's chubba bubbas grown up of the OSFA nappies? What did you do??

Neither of my girls fit into the Green kids anymore...LOL

So i stick to Cushie Tushies, Happy Heinys and Bumg for them....

(PS....should your DS's DOB say 07....not 08.....just basing that on the BF for 410 days bit....and we are only a coulple of months into 09...so 410 days does not seem right..LOL)

I'm struggling to get my DS into Greenkids at the moment too
Which is a pity as I love them.
If you want I can send you a HappyHeiny to try on him if you want? Personally I think they are my biggest fitting nappies..

DD1 Is on the last snap on one side and the second last on the other in the CTs. She is day time TTed, and only wears them for night. I believe someone did do a nappy extender at some point, it had a few snaps on either end, that would extend the wings for bigger kids who stil wet at night. If you can't find some maybe find someone with a snap press and make your own. I am getting a snap press in the not too distant future and plan to do that sort of thing when I need to.

Thanks! I changed that a couple of weeks ago when we stopped BF'ing - can't believe I got the date wrong!

Alioops - would extending the snaps --> leaking?

Cookiemonster - What size Happy Heinys are you using? I just had a look at the website & saw that they make XL & XXL!!!

Usually when they outgrow the waist they outgrow the leg at the same time. Extending the snaps would just give you the same amount of space as a normal snap increase.

I have one size nappies!!

Howmuch does DS weigh? My DS weighs about 11kg, but a shortie.
HH has four size snaps, we're on the third for daytimes and the fourth for superboosted night nappies. With the velcro, top tab still crosses over the bottom tab around his waist, so i find them to have been a fantastic fit.

Caleb slimmed down a bit at about 18 months (lost pudgy tummy) and a few nappies that were tight on him fitted again, including BBB's. They don't fit him anymore though.

honey boys are a bigger fitting nappy and AIO's so to are Bubble bubs

Mateauz has started slimming down quiet a bit since he started walking (thank god) he was on the last snaps on his CT and IB there for a while but has gone back to the 2nd on in.

Give it a little time...dont start stressing straight away.....you watch he'll end up a bean pole

CookieM - I haven't had DS weighed in a couple of months - he was 12kg then - I would guess about 13kg now?

Raven - DS has certainly slimmed down already & I'm hoping that trend will continue. But I don't know if he will be 'trim' enough to wear these until TT!

Maz - I just like to know my options I'm happy to keep going with the BBH & Greenkids for now. There are so many different nappy brands though! Make me wish I'd gotten a few of each rather than just getting stacks of 2 kinds.
