I started at 35 weeks, belly rubs with it 2 times a day.

50ml of base carrier oil with 5 drops of pure essential clary sage oil.

I had decent BH, was induced at 38 weeks so not sure how well it would have worked but combimned with RL tabs i only needed 1 lot of prostin gel. So must have done something with the BH.

PP used it - hopefully she posts in here!

I was inhaling it inbetween cx and my labour was 4 hrs TOTAL! I was too scared to rub it on my belly "incase I wasnt really in labour" I think I was in denial

I used it from 38 weeks on, rubbing it into my belly and also putting some in the bath. I went two weeks over and had an emergency c/s after 9 hours of labour. So I think it did nothing!!

    Hope it works for you!

lol sneaky - do you still have it or passed it on again lol!!

Yep i used the magic bottle that i passed to sneaky ... i rubbed it on my belly once labour was in progress and DS was born 2 hrs later - progress extremely fast (you most of you know at home in the bedroom ooops!)

Hippy - if you read into it a little closer - it isnt to be used before labour is established as it can slow labour down. Once the contractions have started and regular is when they say to use it A little backward sounding but sounds like it had the opposite effect for you as you started using it before labour

i used it when in labour i had it in an oil burner and also on a face washer that i would sniff when i felt a contraction coming..
its best use is when in labour or having BH(might turn them in to the real deal)

Ohhh interesting, it is to be used during labour, as opposed to helping start labour.

    Hmm!Something else to think about.

It can tone uterus to allow it to contract more effectilvly when used pre labour.

In labour it allows contractions to be more effective.

I used it from 39 weeks and had DD2 12 days over.
After 40 weeks I rubbed it on as much as I could, 3 times a day at least.
My scent was clary sage oil, DH said he would know when I was about to enter the room cause he would small the oil before me lol
I had a three hour labour from waters breaking to birth. I think it helped alot with prepping the uterus.
I also took Evening Primrose oil three times a day.
