    New thermometer batteries?

My thermometer seems to have died (which explains all those haywire high temps I had!) and I'm assuming it needs a new battery.

Has anyone had to replace their battery, is it expensive or not worth the hassle and I should just get a new thermometer?

I can't see what sort of battery it needs but it is a Surgipack Ovulation Digital thermometer, in fact I can't even see how to get it open to replace the battery!

I wouldn't mind temping properly again as, even though I have given up on ttc, because I've had a few shorter cycles lately I want to see if I am actually still ovulating and if so when.

Hmmm, I'm not sure about that. When I read the heading of your post though my initial reaction was to say just to get a new thermometer.

Replacing the batteries on something so small and sensitive might just still make it haywire.

Others might have a better solution for you though!

    Good luck!!

Yeah I just went and got a new one. Still think it's a shame to throw something out that could be otherwise in working order.

    I totally agree.

It seems that some of the things that we buy these days are just all disposable.

I cringe to think about all the stuff that goes to the land fill sites which is totally unnecessary!!
