We are off to Canada mid April We are going to halifax nova Scotia, niagara falls and Toronto.
What are the best shoes to get. We will be doing a lot of walking and I think it may be fairly wet although in toronto we may not have to go outside as will use the underground PATH.
I want something comgy and not too ugly - that I can wear with jeans/ black pants. I don't really want hiking boots/shoes if I can help it. I have been looking at Rockport or KEEN shoees. I would prefer something waterproof but don't know if that is really needed. I guess I would prefer to have waterproof and not need it than the other way around but am uncertain if normal leather would be sufficient. We are mainly doing touristy things
My parents went to Canada & Alaska last year & my mum got a really nice comfy pair of shoes from Colorado. She said they were fantastic! The were kind of like a casual runner...
As we are going away in April, I went to Colorado a few weeks ago & put 2 pairs on lay by. The are like wearing slippers!!!
You should check out their web site.
Hope that helps & have fun on your trip!
Okay, I know Crocs have their haters, but if you look on the Aus website, they have some pretty pairs (not like the gardening/surgery style shoe). I have a pair of the Malindi style, and I can walk for ages in them and they're very comfy, and being crocs, waterproof obviously.
