Unhappy 2 Chemical Pregnancies in 3 months!!! So depressed!

    Hi everyone,

Was wondering if any of you have had this happen and did you ever find out why? Two months ago I got a positive HPT, but only had HCG level of 15 so went on to have a period and was classed as a chemical pregnancy. Well this month I have had a few positive HPT's already that weren't faint, but not the strongest either, but wasn't worried as AF is due on Sat. Been having AF pains as before, but also had these when preggers with my DS. Well, stupid me, did one more HPT and the line was REALLY faint so think the same thing is happening again. I am so depressed about it and so mad at myself for testing early as I should of learnt my lesson before, but just want another baby so bad. I also miscarried before little DS so am starting to be concerned. Has anyone had a similar experience? I just needed to write it down as I haven't told DH yet and needed to get it out. Thanks for reading.

I had 2 CPs before this pregnancy. My charts were positive charts, I had positive HPTs and then AF arrived and was quite clotty. I decided on the 3rd cycle not to test early and had no tests in the house until the day AF was due. I just couldn't handle another one.

If you want you can have a look at my charts

I have had 3 mc in the last 6 months. My first one was a missed mc. I started bleeding at 10.5wks and was told the baby had died at 8.5wks. My next one was a failed preg at 7 wks and the last one I had was a chem. preg. I have been told that it is all just bad luck and just 'one of those things'. It has all been so hard-especially not having any answers! Some days are worse than others and filled with no hope. Others days I feel some hope that I am strong enough to continue to try and hopefully one day I will get to hold and love my baby. My thoughts are with you.

bad luck and one of those things how many times to we hear this people just don't get it

I googled bad luck and found this clip Bad Luck - Video (excuse the audio) and sorry if it offends anyone.

I lot of bad things some funny some not so funny but none would explain the loss we all feel.

Have you had your Thyroid Stimulating Hormone tested?? because I was the same as you, I had 3 pregnancies in 4 months one after the other and at 5 & 6 & 5 weeks they all left me, I spotted early then started bleeding with HCG levels very low. After the third miscarriage I thought thats it I'm getting every test under the sun done! I need to know why this is happening. Well low and behold my TSH was out of the normal ranges and the endocrinologist Dr Gavin Sacks told me it was because this level was high that I was losing the babies. I've been on Oraxcin since diagnosed in Dec 08 because Im hypothyroid which means its slow and I put on weight easily. I've had 2 blood tests and am now in the normal ranges and can try to fall pregnant again. The Dr said that I have 60 to 70% chance of a successful pregnancy if the levels are in the normal ranges and taking into consideration my age and my weight oh yes and my husbands age.

So I found a lot of these tests on this website its under the thread tests for recurrent miscarriages. Goodluck and I hope you find some answers.
