How to get rid of the smell?

Well, I am very proud of DS 3 1/2 being toilet trained, but every now and again his aim isnt so good when using the toilet.

My question is - How do I get rid of the smell of urine off the floor?

We have a tiled floor. I have used domestos and pine o cleen but they dont seem to rid the smell.

    Thanks for your help

I was thinking of a toilet mat,you know the ones that go completely around the bottom of the toilet, but you would probably have to wash it every day,if it got dribbled on,lol.
I like to use "DD Euycaliptus Oil" on my toilet mat,but my 2.5 year old sits to pee.

is it the tiles or the wall behind - just that before my brother decided to tile up the back of the toilet wall the boys would miss and it would hit the wall and go behind the tiles, so the smell wasn't coming from the floor but from the wall behind the tiles.

Kaz's idea is probably your best bet

I think Tea Tree oil is one of the most potent smells around. Maybe give that a shot.

If you can get the smell out, it may be worth re-sealing the grout to prevent the smell getting in.

We have the same problem... currently toliet training a 2.5yo DS. I mop with diluted Tea tree oil in water. I keep it in a spray bottle in the toliet and spray and mop if needed throughout the day. it is a natural antiseptic and smells nice also.
