We have just returned from a week away.. while away, I put a load of clothes through the dryer in our accomodation and when I took them out, they are all stained. We informed the mgmt of where we were staying and they got a guy out to look at the dryer and he claims there was crayon in the dryer which is what has stained the clothes (no idea how that got there!).
So basically, I have a load of light coloured clothes that have the oil from the crayons all over them... any suggestions on what I can do to clean them?
If it is hard like an actual piece of crayon, iron it with a piece of brown paper (like the lunch bags) on top. The brown paper should absorb the crayon.
Another one is to scrub the stains with a toothbrush dipped in undiluted vinegar before washing them again. Test this one on the inside of a hem before actually doing all the clothes.
I'd try the eucy oil and then wash in very very hot water with usual laundry powder and a bit of dishwashing liquid chucked in for good measure (but not in a front loader).
Eucalyptus oil - should be able to get it in the aisle that sells panadol and cough lozenges, although I *think* I've seen a spray can in the cleaning aisle.
