2 different FDCarers at the same time?

    Hi all

I'm in the market for a new FDC lady for my 17 mth old, and places around here are looking pretty tight. I need 2 days a week, and will need to do something with my 10 yo DD on the same afternoons, either FDC or OSHC.

I have met a couple of carers who each have a day available, who also *both* pick up at DD1's school. So am thinking of sending my girls one day to one and one day to another.

Wondering if anyone else has any experience of having two carers at once? I figure it shouldn't be too destabilising - in a normal week you do different things on different days and lot of kids will spend most of the week at one carer and then one day at Grandmas...they all seem to cope ok, don't they??

Thoughts, comments...just trying to think this through out loud.

MD, I can't see any problems with that. My mum has DD once a week and she goes to CC a couple of days a week. She has done this since 12months and is pretty flexible. She knows which days are mummy days, which are Nanna days and which are Norma (CC) days and is completely fine with that. I think as long as the days are consistent then they work out their own routines around that.
