    fibroids - may affect labour

    Hello
I am 21 weeks pregnant, and it was discovered at my 20 week ultrasound that the 1 known fibroid, and 4 new ones which have become enlarged. One in particular is of concern, being between the placenta and cervix and is currently 4.7 x 4.7 x 2.8 cm. I have been advised by my Ob that a cs is likely as a result. I will have another u/s at 24 weeks to see if it has enlarged. Has anyone else been in this position - I am becoming more and more concerned of the affect the fibroid may have on my developing baby, and of course being my first that I will require a cs (and v.scared - really wanted to deliver naturally).
    thanks
    CeeCee

Hey CeeCee, this is a bit off topic but I was just wondering what state you are in?
