School, kinder and child care closures

Hi Everyone,

For those of us living in Vic, it might be a good idea to check on the education department to see if your school, kinder or child care has been closed for tomorrow. Just google education department school closure. It will give you a full list of closures.

why are schools closing tomorrow?

many areas are in high fire danger tomorrow so they are playing it safe - keeping children at home in case the fire risk becomes a reality. they did it locally during the fires both before and after Black Saturday

ahh - googled the results - and they've closed our school out at home. the fire there is listed as contained but still going, and after a convo with DH, the winds tomorrow, if the fire flares, will send it back towards home. thankfully there isn't much left to burn but it's still freaky enough...

It is very scary. What area are you in Brigsys Girl? I am in Mt Evelyn so the fires are still a way off but close enough for my liking.

The hills are all closed as well, DH is staying at home with Pip tomorrow.
