Love to get any feedback in regards to implantation bleeding ?

Hi all,

I went off the pill just before X-mas and then i held off TTC for 3 month ...i was on the pill for more then 10 years and it took little while to get somewhat regular ... i seem to have a 28 day cycle and sometimes even shorter... i do not temp or use a o-kit as i do not want to get too technical at this stage ...

My last AF was on the 12 of Feb and i have been busy BD ever since the 16th every other day sometimes even everyday up until this Monday the 2nd ? i kept an eye on my CM which was almost like text book in the week 16 ? 22 indicating the big O around the 19th which would mean a short cycle (had a 19 day one before)? and if it would be a 28 cycle i would have had my big O on the 26th...

The odd thing is, yesterday i noticed some dark brown blood traces on the toilet paper after using the bathroom ? and it?s still there today ???

I have read about implantation bleeding ... can anyone tell me how that looks like, how long it goes for ...
Or am i just getting my hopes up and it?s just my short cycle AF starting really slow ?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated ? Thanks heaps

My implantation was with my first pg and it was at around 6-8 weeks.. It was just a little red streak on the toilet paper

hi G,

i had an implantation bleed around the time that AF was due. it was also dark (old) and over about 2-3 days increased slightly from just seeing when wiping to needing a panty liner JIC of overflow (i was convinced it was AF showing up). after a short week it also disappeared and DH went out for the HPT....

Gosh just thinking here.. It was 10 yrs ago now.. From memory it was just red blood.. not bright but like the start of your period. I know it wasn't brown like the end..

I had implantation bleeding at 7 and 8 dpo with my son - as soon as I saw it I *knew* I was pregnant because I'm really regular and never spot midcycle.

It wasn't much - spotting really. It was red blood and only there when I wiped. I saw it a couple of times over the 24 hour period and then it was gone.

Started testing like mad at 10dpo and got a faint positive at 11dpo. That "faint positive" is now a noisy 2 year old

Good luck - it sounds about the right time to be IB so fingers crossed!

thanks for that - it sounds promising , wished i would have any other symptoms, i am going crazy here, i did start spotting the last 2 x just before my AF was due but it was like "fresh blood" but the timing is not even right this time as i really think i am more a 28 day cycle than anything else which means AF would be due again on the 12 this month ???

... does anyone know how common it is ? is it like 1 in 3 ...

Honey I am right there with you on the whole TWW, but at the end of the day you will just have to wait to test!!!! I have started a 'diary'. Every day I just write a short paragraph on how im feeling and try to get on with the day.

Gecko, my implantation bleeding happened at 9dpo and only lasted that one evening. It was brownish and I thought it was the beginning of AF as she was due within the next 2 days.

Thank you for all your feedback, my body just answered my question ? it was my AF arriving very very slowly which is odd but she is in full flow now since yesterday...so that would make it a 22 cycle this time, which is shorter than usual i guess it's better the no AF at all since i have been on the pill for over 10 years ? will have to give my body some time...

ubba82 thanks for the tip in regards to writing things off my chest ... i think that is a good idea ... as we have not told a sole that we are TTC...to avoid the questioning ...

Thanks again hoping to get my BFP soon - trying to looking at the bright side ? i get to try faster and more often with a short cycle, always look for the positive in everything ? even if its hard at times

I found Vitex Agnus-Castus supplements worked really well getting my cycle back to normal after being on the pill.

It might be worth a try.
