    UNITE!!!

i am interested in starting cloth for my 16 month old but have no idea where to start. i am looking to talk to someone who is passionate and informative about mcn. i have had a little bit of experience with them, i bought my sister 2 bum genious and have put one on the boy and he got a bit of a rash. so im a bit concerned about that. i have also looked into them when he was little but chickened out. in fact, what has changed my mind at the moment is seeing maz' covers.
is there a shop i can go into and get all these answers, i live in logan.

You are in luck. There is a shop in Kingston you can go to and the owner Bek is very knowledgeable and very helpful. I'll PM you the address as I'm not sure if I'm allowed to give it out in the forum.

Kate - it is VERY overwhelming when you first start up - believe me - I know. I started when DS was 14 months old too, everything confused me!!!!

You are always welcome to come here and check out my stash and see everything in real life (and the kids can play!)

ok can i so be invited to this clothy and food fest heehee.....i'm about to bite the bullet and switch to cloth with my LO....i have a friend who is loning me about 8 different types next week but i need a good sit down education lesson!

I'm thinking rudds money will go towards cloth! there are some great packs out there with everything you need till TT for only $500-$700 but want to try a few first and hear other peples reviews....my lil boy is long and skinny so i need one that fits well and firm around his skinny little legs, i gues thats my biggest concern is leaking.

Smoz - you can definitely be involved!!! I can come to you guys, or you guys are more than welcome to come here!!! All the kids can play together too, so that would be great. And would be nice to see you and say more than just "hi" which is what I said last big meetup.. (cos me too shy!! )

So yeah - when are you guys up for the clothy/food fest hehe
