    Non Stop Questions!

I have two very curious boys but they are driving me spare! The questions are non stop and I can't remember most of them but a selection of them from yesterday include:

How do they make glass? (didn't believe me that it involved sand lol)

What would happen if everything in the world was magnetic? (further discussion on this topic revealed that it didn't include people, cats or food)

How do they make poison? (is the teacher in trouble here...?)

Why does your nose make boogers? (to attract fingers because it gets lonely)

Why does food turn into poo? (to make work for mummy cleaning the toilet)

How come you still have a big tummy when the baby is out? (gees thanks mate!)

Serioulsy I so get the Great Wall of China keeping the rabbits out
I enjoy having a bit of fun and telling them some porkies for entertainment I think it encourages them a bit though...

Can't be just mine though. Share some of your childs pondering

OMG, I hear you - and you have it in stereo you poor bugger!

The BEST thing I did was get foxtel, oh how I love it. With shows like Megastructures, Big Fixes, it has my little sponge-brain absorbed totally.
There is also a show called This is Daniel Cook, and the little fella does all these interesting things like get into beehives and see how things work, very cool.

Only problem is then I have to hear DS repeat it ALL back to me, and tell me how things work.......but its better than having to rack my poor brain for answers!

Oh hun, I hear you. DS1 has been like this since he was about 2 - at just on 2 he even asked "how does the sun make the sky purple?" at sunset one day. Some days it is literally non-stop questions. Now DS2 has started. Some days I think I'm going to lose it if I hear the word "why" one more time.

I guess it's a good sign hun and maybe it helps to know you're not the only one

I have this times 20 at school!!! Actually its mostly the boys but they come out with some doozies, some of them you have to tell them to ask mum or dad LOL Like once when we were lined up to go to assembly one boy said "Can 2 boys get married?" (we are in a bit of a bible belt and I didn't want to get into any trouble so I just said ask mum LOL)
I have a very curious boy in my class this year, he is obsessed with wars and army stuff, this was our convo on day 1 of kindy!
Max: What war did your husband fight in?
Me; There wasn't a war then he was just in the army
Max: didn't any of his friends fight anyone?
Me: Well some of his friends had to go to East Timor to help people
    Max: Who were they fighting?
Me: they just had some trouble in their country so we went to help fix things up
Max: Shouldve just blown everyone up so there'd be no more fighting.
I go through this daily LOL

I get them all the time. In the end I just said "lets google it" becaue my answers were never good enough even though they were true. Now I'm constantly asked if we can google stuff. This morning it was police cars across the world! We found a VW police car...that was excitement, the kids were punch buggying each other all over the place.

Oh I get this with my two as well, the questions are endless.

I think it`s good that they are wanting to know why/how but sometimes you just wish they stop for a 5 minute break

I get it already and Jayden isn't even 3! Although rather than asking specific things all I hear all day (every day) Whats this? Mum, whats this colour? Whats this called? By the end of the day I am so sick of hearing it especially because I know he knows what things are like he'll pick up an toy elephant and ask what it is.....not looking forward to the "why" phase!

My little Lyta is a chatterbox - and her favourite word is "Why?" I have had to say "I don't know honey, you will need to look it up on wikipedia" a lot, lol.

However she does have what we call, Lytaisms. Some of the priceless ones from our holiday were all directed at my older brother who was obviously just getting used to her gifted perfectionism.

Please note, both of these were said between sobs and are not simply captain obvious observations.

"There is milk in my cereal". He was not yet aware that we add chocolate quik to her ceral because rice bubbles and quik is cheaper than coco pops.

"There is chocolate in my chocolate milk". It was a small floating undissolved nugget of chocolate, and she was quite distressed about it!
