I would like your input on this thought. I've been told by a few people that I shouldn't be painting while pregnant but some people said it's fine to do so aslong as the room is well ventilated. No sanding needs to be done and there is no lead paint in the room.
My DH isn't a good cutting in painter and have band him from cutting in when we are painting as I have a much steadier hand but DH is a better rollerer so he does that.
I'm just wondering what everyone else knows about this.
Kelly, I don't think there is anything wrong with it so long as you are in a ventilated room etc and take regular breaks to get some fresh air. Paints these days are pretty much harmless. But I wouldn't be getting up on any ladders or anything. And if all you are doing is the finer details, then go for it.
I helped DH paint a few rooms in the house when I was 19 weeks pg. I didn't climb any ladders or anything, and we made sure the doors and windows were open.
But I ended up using enamel paint on the doors and then went to get it off my hands with kero and I broke out with a really bad rash that lasted 2 weeks!
So okay on the paint, but stay away from kero/metho etc!
