I really don't have any advice but wanted to add that my cat sounds pretty similar. My vet has even referred her to a behavioural specialist vet and she's been on anti-anxiety pillsShe has to sleep in our room, no questions otherwise she'd keep everyone awake howling all night. Our bedroom is upstairs and when we are downstairs and she wants to go up, she'll go halfway up and call out to us to follow her and continue to call for us until we respond. She also waits outside the bathroom when I use it! She won't eat her food unless we shake the bowl (like an ocd type trait I guess...). She is truely a crazy cat but we love her...it gets annoying but we're used to it. I hope you find some answers and someone pops in here with some actual advice! Sorry I couldn't help lol.

What a gorgeous kitty, he missed you and he loves you!

the funny thing is he knows he is not allowed there and I get dirty looks when I tell him off.
