Are these symptoms normal at 12 weeks?

    Hi.
I am 12 weeks and have had very bad intergestion lately, especially when I get up or during the day around lunchtime.
A very scraping burning feeling inside my throat and stomach.
I try TUMS or mylanta but it doesnt work.

I also have a sore back, and a very bad ache in my neck (spinal area of my neck)

I am also SO TIRED all the time.
    I mean its really bad.
I will sleep from 9pm at night til atleast 9 am the next morning, then i get tired at around lunchtime 2pm ish. And sleep til dinner (bout 6pm)

Is it healthy for me to be sleeping this much? will it cause me any problems etc if I sleep so often.

Enjoy the rest!!!! When your little jelly bean comes out you will have a hard time getting ANY sleep!! I started getting indegestion last night, i think its pretty much the norm - gets A LOT worse in the third trimester. i find having a glass of milk tames it a bit.

everything else seems pretty normal to me!

    all sounds normal to me...
certain foods can make indigestion worse, like onions, spicy foods and oily/greasy/deep fried foods... milk does help..

Yep. All sounds like normal stuff to me.
I was the same in terms of sleeping heaps. I found it really hard to stay awake and as i worked from home right through the pregnancy i found it hard to not go to bed for a little while. lOL

Enjoy the rest now. Its your body telling you that you need the extra rest as your body is making huge changes and doing lots of extra work to support you little one.

    hugs

As the other girls have already said... sleep when you can!

As for the indigestion.... with first bub I found rennies seemed to work for me. A glass of milk now and then also settled things.

You might find things settle down a bit as you move into the second trimester.

Me too, nap at 2pm every day. I say if you can sleep when you feel tired just do it.
Energy levels are just starting to pick up for me now so I hope it continues to get better as I feel yucky sleeping so much
