Flies

We have a fly issue here. My house is clean, but they are everywhere. Oh, I've run out of fly spray and i'm not paid till monday. Is there a natural fly repellent -- something that I can use -- just from things around the house?

They are driving me crazy!

I jsut googled homemade fly repellent and got lots of recipes, but I don't have most of the ingredients. I'm not sure about you....

One of them was crushed mint leaves, putting them around your house.

We went to Bunnings and bought a fly/wasp catcher that was recommended to us.
It has caught plenty of large flies, not sure how many wasps or small flies. We have noticed that the wasps/flies are not as bad since we got it but that might be the weather.
My aunt who lives in the Mallee used the fly strips that you hang as their flies were so bad.

Netix: I never thought to google for a solution, might look at it when I have time.

a fly swat or rolled up paper is pretty natural and fun...
i give my kids the a fly swat and we go hunting
