Smell different down there? (possible tmi)

Does anyone who has had a vaginal birth think they smelt different 'down there' afterwards? I dont mean in the initial post partum time when you still have stitches and lochia, I mean after all that. I think that I smell different and wondering if this happens to other woman. I`m also wondering if it will change once I have my first period?

hi salsa, sorry i didnt have a vb but after post partum bleeding etc, I think I smell different!!
its strange cos it reminds me of my mum!!
even smells different around af etc.

You still have all sorts of hormones floating around so that might affect the smell or it might affect your sense of smeel so that you percieve it differantly.
They did a study once on people who say their wee doesn't smell funny after eating asparagus and the result was that their wee did smell funny but they don't smell the differance.
