What about cruskits, fruit bears, fruit bars, (the last 2 depend on how many teeth) and maybe a teething ring etc just for chewing. For the start a sandwich or toast.
Just trying to think what I keep here for the boys
Got any old keys you can take for her to play with also.

You need to be careful if going through customs mid flight that anything you take you can keep.

    Have a great time away

Cheese sticks, rice cakes, dried apple/pear (DD loves the Bellamys ones that I buy at Coles).

i usually take those raffertys veg purees or fruit smash purees that they can suck on and self feed - they keep them occupied and are non messy...
if the food is sealed and you show it is for toddler customs should be ok with it too...

We brought lollies too... I know I wouldn't normally use them but on flights its good to have the emergency tic tacs or something to distract. M was 18 months when we flew to America and I have to say chuppa chups got us through the discent without too many ear issues. I won't go into gory details about the rest of the flight though... Its only 1 day out of your life... you will get through it!

the only thing i would recommend beyond the rafferty's vege and fruit tubes (the small ones with the plastic nozzle...that way bubs can suck at it at their own will), is to manage the number of sultanas...sultanas = potential poo explosion! LOL! i had this happen on our flight and let's just say that there was poo everywhere (DD had eaten about 3 boxes in 2 hours....).

This is what i keep telling myself i know its going to be horrificm especially as i am travelling alone, but Oh well, we have 3 weeks to get over it until we have to do it again!!!

thanks guys for all your suggestions.
The only thing i was worried about the lolies was the sugar rush, she hasnt really had sugar added to anything, so i worry that she would become awful...

Think i will only take 2 boxes of sultanas for the 24 hour trip, hopefully no poosplosions

IKWYM about the sugar rush, I guess a few tic tacs or something like 1 chuppa chup isn't too bad on a once only thing.

Hpw about some rice wheels or potato sticks from the health food isle? They are prepackaged and small. Both my DD's love them and call them "chippys" even though they aren't lol. They do carry vege sticks as well. ITs great for kids with food allergies and they are relatively more healthy than other stuff.
