my cycle was this... 11th march and the 25th march i had a period both times they were a full type period. the on on 25th was heavy but that's fairly normal for me could the 25th march period be implantation bleeding? would implantation bleeding be heavy?
The last time I ovulated I spotted for 3 days, it was not heavy though, only there when wiping, but was bright red.
I also had implantation bleeding, this was just brown spotting for one day and also light, only when wiping.
I assume it could be different for different people, this is just my experience.
My period was due to start this friday just gone but I have only had light spotting, small amounts of blood and brownish thickness when wiping and a small amount of mild cramping. Is that implantation bleeding?
I've been reading up on it and it seems to me like it is. I have been on the pill for the last 2 years and it has always been on time and of regular flow, not like this at all.
Squidipa - I don't think implantation bleeding is 'usually' heavy, but you never know 100%
Kirby - With Elly I had significant bloating, cramping and the same kind of bleeding you describe couple of days before period due - when my period never came 'properly' I did a test and it was implantation bleeding! You will either have to do a test or play the waiting game, but very well could be implantation by the sounds of it!
sas85 - when you experienced yours did you start feeling sick soon after? I havent experienced any sickness in the morning but sort of a mild cramping and neaseus feeling sort of mid day. Is it worthwhile testing now?
I started feeling nauseous at 5.5 weeks, so 1.5 weeks after my period was due I had odd sort of cramping up until about 6 weeks (they actually did an ultrasound just to ensure wasn't ectopic because of it). I tested 3 days after the spotting started since a 'proper' period hadn't arrived (which was the day my period was due incidentally, and I got a faint positive line (even the faintest means BFP). So If your period was due last friday, you should return an accurate pregnancy test. They make them VERY sensitive these days and you can usually test on the day your period due, so IF you are pregnant it should show as a positive test (there are details inside the tests). If not, then you know it's just your body playing tricks on you, and you might have a 'normal' period next time. You can wait if you want, but you might as well find out now, they not that expensive.
My first implantation bleed was literally one brown spot on the toilet paper (just once) at 7DPO. I had another implantation bleed 3 days after my BFP which was full on CM with light pink streaks.
As far as I know, implantation bleeds are always light and generally what I described above although some girls continue to have normal periods for several months into a pregnancy.
I had the same thing, brown spotting (although mine was from 8dpo) bloating, then cramping (mainly at night) and nausea around mid morning since abot 4dpo but got AF today after a luteal phase of just 10 days, again. Aggh!
I had brown spotting quite a few times from 2 weeks til 21 weeks with my first pregnancy which produced a healthy little boy. I was having the same with my 2nd pregnancy which unfortuately resulted in a m/c (blighted ovum). Its just so hard to know (or not know)and so hard to keep calm! All the best, hope you wake up and get a BFP tomorrow!
