Niadla - just thought I'd say hi, I have this 'condition'. Not really sure it is playing any part in the issues I'm having. My OB has suggested it is not a problem once they have ruled out any problems with the kidneys (which they did at the 20wk scan). But I have had issues with restricted blood flow through the cord but it has not been suggested this is because of SUA.
I dont have this condition this time around but did with my DS. Just thought I would pop by and say that this time I have been on Asprin (100mg day) to help increase the blood flow to the baby, it has helped and hopefully will offset any IUGR this time.
I had pre-term labour last time when the single artery was discovered so couldnt go on Asprin. But maybe others who have single artery cord could ask their care givers if this would help their babies blood flow?
Just a thought. Would have loved to have been able to do this for my DS.
