I am with MIVF as you know, and I was doing my own head in, on wether I was making the right clinic choice, embryo choice, protocol choice, fs choice, you name it, I stressed aboout it. I woke up at 3 am last night thinking about it
In the end, I could take it no more, and made an appointment with monash, had my appointment yesterday.
There protocol's are very different, IMO, and by the choices they make re cycling etc.
Why dont you make an appointment at Monash and talk your concerns through with them, you can see them whilst you are cycling this month, and you dont need to tell mivf you are going.
If you are doing your head in before you have even had a scan hun, you will loose the plot, before you start sims, you really need to go into this, with some peace of mind, that you have made the right decision for you, and I feel you are in two minds. And trust me hun, you need your minds to be visulising your follicals growing.
I actually made two appointments with two differnt FS's at Monash, I have hit the safety net, so now is the time for me to shop around, so to speak. I will PM you who I made appointments with, one popular FS had a cancellation, and I got in a 5 days after my call, another BB gal had to wait months to get in to see her, so that was luck, or was it fate ...
Darily, we went with MIVF because of where we lived and that was who we were refered too. I think if we had continued to have BFNs, I would have looked into 5dt, and was really considering a second opinion. I think that if you have questions, book an appointment at Monash and see what you feel most comfortable about - IVF is a long process and you want to start being as comfortable as you can be with your decisions.
One issue with MIVF is that the stats they have on the web and in their info book are well out of date (not sure what the stats are like for Monash) - you may need to ask for current data from both clinics over the same time frame to really compare results.
