I'm after some feedback from those who have used both a HAB and Ergo. I have a HAB which is great but I find it to be a huge PITA to actually use. It's not quick and easy so has spent a lot of time collecting dust. I then got a Baba sling which was a physical pain on my shoulder...lol. Was supposed to be there to make quick trips in and out of Woolies or the like, but ended up just sitting in the car all the time. So now that my new little man is here I've been looking into the Ergo after hearing great things about it. I did try one on at the shops (minus baby as he was sleeping) and found it really super easy and quite quick to put on which is great. My question now is this... is it as comfy for longer durations like the HAB??

Cass - I don't have a HAB (as we have already talked about) but I have worn Miss M in the Ergo for up to 2 or 3 hours at a time with no pain. And coming from someone with a bad back - that's amazing. I had a Tomy carrier before that hurt after about half an hour - it pulled terribly on my shoulders.
I have both the HAB and the ergo. I would say that the ergo is just as (if not more) comfortable as the HAB. I found as my DS got heavier he started to slip down in the HAB and I would have to keep readjusting it...haven't had this problem with the ergo.
The HAB is GREAT for newborns and them progress to the ergo as they get older.
Thanks for your feedback Marlene, I loved the HAB when Oskar was tiny but it was such a pain that it really ended up hardly used *sighs*. I haven't even bothered getting it out for Elijah but the feedback on the Ergo sounds good and I tried one on and heaps easier and faster to use.
I decided to get the ERGO and am really glad I did. First time I used it twice in the one day and Elijah went from the car into it, had his hearing test (in it) back into the car, out and into the shops and stayed asleep the whole time. Next day I used it at the shops when he got grizzly and he went to sleep within minutes!
LOVE IT.. very easy to use compared to the HAB and felt great on Thanks for your help ladies
