    Blood in baby's poo

I've googled blood in baby's poo, and mostly it says a sign of constipation, from possible an anal fissure. There was some in my baby's poo and on his nappy today, i have never seen this before. He goes about twice a day at the same times every day, and sometimes he looks like he is pushing a bit but he does not seem bothered by it.

He has formula on demand, and not much water as he isn't keen unless i add juice to it. Should he be drinking large amounts of water though at 9.5 months? He does not seem constipated. He eats a good mix of fruit and veges in his solids.

    Should i be worried?

DS had it once but his was when he was on solids, something went straight through him. Id go to the doctors or at least give them a call and see what they say

Its scary hey! Especially when you google it!

DS had it when he was little and the DR said as long as its not like jelly it is probably just a fissure! See a DR anyway just for piece of mind

I agree, as long as he is otherwise okay, a trip to the GP during daylight hours might be in order.

If he seems sick or unwell to you, though, you should arrange for someone to see him straight away.
