what is BBY?
just had a look in my centerlink online payment history. it says i am going to get some money in a few days for 'one time payment of BBY' whats that? is it something to do with the maternity payment? and also it says i am getting some extra money for 'arrearrs of FTB a' i dont know why? any ideas?

I had the same thing because I lodged the forms the week I got my centrelink payments so they owed me FTB for the few days River was here that werent included in that fortnights payment that week + the first baby bonus payment. This fortnights payment is adjusted to include River and my BB payment gets made on the monday after my centrelink payment week.

the bby is baby bonus - it will list as one time payment each fortnight cos it's a limited, non-ongoing payment
the ftb arrears is for any days you've already been paid ftb for your first kidlet that they have to make up for ftb for number 2!
