Just curious what other mums find essential to have done before they leave the house. (for groceries, visiting, whatever.)
I like to have the kids fed and dressed, with hair done (three girls ) myself fed and dressed , with a bit of make-up on, and hair done, the beds made, the dishes done and put away, possibly a load of laundry in, and a general tidy-up done. I HATE coming home to a mess. If I don't get that much at least accomplished, I feel like I'm disorganized and losing it.
How about you?
Ok so not a Mum but before I leave the house in the morning I absolutely have to have made the bed and put on a load of washing (preferably hung it out) and of course got dressed (although I keep having that dream where I forget that bit...)
I try to do the bare minumum, as in what is essential to getting out the door. I remember my mum was terrible for doing things just as we were leaving, even if we were running late. She always had to sweep the floor and then complain that the rest of us made her late Whilst I do appreciate coming home to a clean floor, I have a bigger issue with being late (I cant stand it). So punctuality wins over cleanliness.
