    Question Berry Plush

I was just wondering what everyones opinions are on these nappies?

    Are they good for boys?

I had one for Aricyn but got rid of it cos the fit just wasnt' good on him. Maybe it would be better on a chubby bubby? Aricyn was always really skinny - so I think that was our main problem with that one.

I have a couple, I like them, but they are not the best fit on my son (who suits narrow crotched side snapping nappies, BPs are wide crotched). They do have a good rise which I like. They do work on skinny bubs but can be a bit 'bunchy'.

I do wonder whether they might be a better fit for girls - when snapped at the front, the insert bunches at the back and doesn't cover his bum properly, but snapped at the back it can have the opposite problem and doesn't have the coverage at the front. I've heard that some people with snap presses put snaps on the other end of the insert which apparently helps. I also find that the elastic digs in at the legs - maybe because the casing roll is narrow it is not as soft as a wider casing or an uncased leg. But that also means the containment is really good, I used BPs from 6 weeks and never had a poosplosion, unlike an itti.

I have a berry plush but the insert has snaps at both ends? I did get it second hand so maybe someone added them?

I don't tend to use it as much as my itti bittis, it is much wider and bulkier and isn't as absorbant so gets wet very quickly. I usually use it as a last nappy of the day when it is going to be changed after a couple of hours.

Love ours! Even left one overnight once and it was fine. The older ones only had the snaps at one end, the newer ones have snaps at both ends.

Riv was skinny and long and they fit fine on him...

    Anyway. I really like them.

How chubby were his legs? I think that was our biggest problem. Can't really remember, just know the fit wasn't good and it bunched, leaked etc so I got rid of it.

Not very chubby. I remember he was in the small for aaaages - they were his lo-rider nappies, but they worked.

Love em! definitely need snaps at both ends though... do you have access to a snap machine? Just ad some snaps at the other end and good to go!
