Question re HCG levels after m/c

Hi,

my m/c was 24/4.
On the day of m/c (m/c was that night), my HCG was around 5000 (not sure of exact ammount).
On 25/5 (day after m/c) it was 2500 (again, not sure of exact ammount).
on 29/4 it was 205 and on 1/5 it was 89.
On 4/5 it was 27.

I know it is going down. I have stopped bleeding, but I won't be given the "all clear" until HCG reaches zero.
The dr thinks it is all OK, and has said to leave next test till monday (11/5), and if it hasn't dropped to zero then, will be considering D&C.

How long should it take for HCG to reach zero?

If it were "incomplete", would I not be feeling other symptoms by now (eg, fever, unwell, discharge). At the hospital they were pretty confident that it was complete - I passed the entire placenta, but the fetus was not attached (but it wasn't a blighted ovum, as the day before it was there with a heart beat. Sorry if TMI, I just didn't want people to suggest possible blighted ovum, when I know it wasn't that).

Sorry to go all over the place, I just am wanting this to be "over" and get that zero

I am so sorry to hear your news. Big hugs

Every women is different in the time it takes her HCG to go down to 0.
I personaly didn't have to wait as my m/c started in the bathroom.

If the Dr decides to do a D&C ask him to use a Hysteroscope during the procedure so he can look inside the uterus while doing the D&C.
