New to MCN - Bumgenius question

I am new to MCN's and have some Bumgenius 3.0 Pocket nappies...
My questions are-
How do you put the insert in the pocket?... the insert has some snaps to make it smaller for my NB, does the bulky bit of the insert go in the front or the back? I have it in the front but with the nappy snapped down do make it smaller, the nappy is VERY BULKY!!?? rea they meant to be so bulky? (DS2 is 9 weeks)

How many inserts do I use for day time use?

Hi

I'd try it with just the smaller insert first, see how much a wetter he is. If he pees that out with one pee or whatever, just use the bigger insert folded down. I do stuff it so the bulky part is towards the front - handy with boys cos thats where their widdle goes!! lol

Are you stuffing it and then snapping it down into the right size? Cos I snap down first, and then stuff the pocket.
