Anyone experienced the same?

hi!

I'm pregs for the first time...just completed 7 weeks, so yet to see OB.
I was wondering if anyone has had same experience as me. I have been having a lot of white discharge. It is quite smelly (sorry, TMI)...and the quantity seems to have increased over the weeks. Is this whole thing normal? Is there anything to be worried about?

Note, I had severe cramps at the very start of the pregnancy, but they have lessened in frequency and intensity now. I hear they are due to the uterus starting to make space.

Just wanted to understand about the discharge?!

hi, increase in discharge is pretty normal, if its smelly though I would get it checked at the docs, make sure its not thrush or something else nasty.

Sounds a bit like thrush, but I would get checked out. Dont be embarrassed either, a lot of women get thrush during PG and its easily treated.

omg, thrush! I didnt think of it, because I don't feel itchy. I should get it checked. Is it ok to wait another week? We have our 1st OB visit scheduled on Tues.

Can you just go see your local GP? It's probably better to get it checked out sooner in case it's not thrush but another infection or something. At least then you could get it treated and cleared up quickly rather than waiting to see the Ob.
