Fancy dress "M" ideas for adults

    Hi there,
We (the whole family) are going to my MIL's 60th birthday this weekend which happens to be a fancy dress! I am stuck for ideas for myself and DS aged 7. We suggested a magician, musician, monster but he doesnt like these.

DH is going as Men in black or Mafia member
DS aged 3 is going as Mr bump

I will take on board any suggestions made, it would be great if it was something i didn't need to hire or spend a lot of time making.

    Thanks in advance

How about Michaelangelo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? A mummy? (the Egyptian kind) A monkey? Mad Scientist? Mario? (from nintendo) Mexican? (I know General Trader used to sell massive Sombreros) Mickey Mouse? Merlin? (that's popular at the moment)

As for you...Mother Nature? A Mod (like from the 60's)? Morticia Adams? Madonna? Maid Marion? Mermaid (prolly too much costume work though)? A monk? Moulin Rouge dancer? Maria (from the sound of music)? Marshmallow (just tie lots of pillows to yourself, or a doona)? Mailman?

    Right. I'm spent.

I was going to suggest a Muppet.

You've got heaps of great suggestions. Fancy dresses are fun but, so much effort they really annoy me!!!

I've dressed up as Madonna (vogue style, tight pinstripe suit) ... and Marilyn Monroe when she was once known to dress in 3/4 tights denim pants & checked shirt tied at waist & red lippie

... Though helps to have very blonde curly hair (which i no longer have as am dark now)
