I was sure acetone removed it. Can you get some from Bunnings?

Use an acetone-based nail polish remover (the really whooffy smelly stuff, kwim)? You should be able to get a bottle for about $2 at woollies. I suspect you've got an oil-based nail polish remover which will not work. Otherwise you could call the poisons info centre, they will be able to tell you what to use based on the specific ingredients in your glue. Good luck!

Ah thats why, my nail polish remover is acetone free. Is there nothing gentler i can use??

A google search brought up ajax or jif, but not too keen on that! and i'm so not up for dragging the boys to the shops right now! bummer.

The best thing I always found was to soak my hands in warm, soapy water and scrape it off with my nails.

Yeah, there are too many diff kinds of polish remover and proper acetone WILL work.

I know this because this stupid girl I knew used superglue on her wedding invitations , then she got her hands stuck, so she called her husband at work and got her hands stuck to the phone....
He stopped at bunnings and got an industrial size tin of acetone and everyone was happy - except me, I'm just sorry she didn't stick her lips together.

Try the chemist if it is nearby? If you ask - the pharmacist will give you a small bottle of 100% acetone - that will get it off no drama!
