I'm just wondering how long you have to be off the pill to get a normal cycle again? I've been on the pill for over 15 years straight (endometriosis) and i want to be healthy before trying to conceive.
I was taking pill for 5-6 years then switched to implanon for the last 4+ years before I stopped to get pregnant. With Implanon, apparently fetility returns quickly. Yet I didn't ovulate for maybe 1 months, then luckily got pregnant soon after when I ovulated for the first time (my DD is now 18month old). I heard that with pills its takes about 3 months for your body to get back to normal. But then some people get pregnant stratight away. I hope this helps.
hi what i suggest is that its now a myth that if you have been taking pills for 2 years the body takes 2 years to get in form now its like you leave pills today and get pregnant tomorrow its just a matter of how quickly your body ovulation cycle returns to normal .............so keep trying and get ready to track your ovulation once you get a good cycle..........
I've found my period is finally starting to normalise after almost 6 months off. I guess everyone is different, but this is the one thing that amazes me so- pregnancy
