    Undies

I want to get some undies to wear with the maternity pads post birth but have no idea what kind to buy What do you recommend? Is it better to wear the full briefs that go high up over the tummy? Do people tend to throw them out after so it's best to get cheapies? Do you buy a size bigger? Spent nearly an hour in Kmart today before getting overwhelmed & leaving I don't know why I'm stressed about getting the right undies!! Please enlighten me.

I didn't buy any special undies. My regular ones were perfectly fine. I know that if you have a caesar it is good to get bigger sized granny kickers so they don't rub on the scar.

I got cheap ones from big w. Black, about 10 pairs, one size bigger than usual. I thought black would be best with blood stains and stuff, jic! Lots of pairs to change into regularly, and bigger to accomodate the baby belly . I got a few pairs each week when I went shopping from about 35wks pg.

I had a C-Section so bought a size bigger and fuller briefs than my normal hipsters... don't think this would be necesary for a VB just to wear pads... I also bought undies with cotton/spandex so they were comfy and not elephant bum IYKWIM!!! LOL

I got the 12 pack from Big W. I still have them, lol. They are hipster ones, & I'd agree to avoid them if having a c/s, but they did me.

When I had DD1 the hospital supplied some for my first night....they came up to my boobs & were made out of that white hair net stuff. Same shape too! Really annoying, coz they didn't hold anything in place

i got disposable ones, they were extremely comfy and meant none of my undies got ruined. They were also cheap, about $1 a pair
